What’s happening now...
A beta version of EPA’s AERSCREEN screening model was released August 17, 2010. All comments were due back to EPA by September 17. EPA’s schedule is to release the final version of AERSCREEN by the end of the year. You can be sure that the Oris’ version of AERSCREEN will be out shortly after that!
EPA has released 1-hour SO2 modeling guidance, which can be found here.
As always, check with your regulatory agency for project-specific
modeling guidance.
News From BEE-Line Software
Version 1.0 of our brand new Contribution Analyst post-processing program is now available. Although EPA has not yet officially released any guidance on conducting source culpability for the 1-hour NO2 and SO2 standards, Contribution Analyst provides a technically valid methodology for doing so. Always consult with your regulatory agency if you plan to use this tool in your regulatory permit modeling analyses. This release includes the following features:
- Program calculates the contributions of a single source group to the NO2 or SO2 design value concentrations of another source group
- Program writes a text file with information about each receptor analyzed
- Program writes a GRF file useful for plotting source contributions
